According to data from APRE, Agency for the Promotion of European Research, in the last two years in the call “Research and innovation on cultural heritage and Cultural and Creative Industries,” there have been 786 Italian participations (71 funded) and in 2022, only 3 Italian-led projects were successful, including ARACNE coordinated by CREA, on reinvigorating the art of silk as an industrial sector and expression of intangible cultural heritage.
