The first meeting of the LAGs for the construction of the European Silk Road

The ReteLEADER invites all LAGs to actively participate in the LivingLAB for the construction of a European Silk Route certified by the Council of Europe.

This initiative, promoted by CREA – Centre for Agriculture and Environment, Laboratory of Sericulture of Padua and the Delta 2000 LAG, with the support of the CAP Network 2023-2027 – ReteLEADER, aims to enhance the productive, commercial and cultural heritage related to silk in Europe, creating an ecosystem of innovation that brings together public, private and academic actors for the promotion and development of the sector.

The first meeting with the LAGs interested in participating will be held on 14th April online and in person in Rome at CREA headquarters, Via della Navicella 2.
It will be the responsibility of ReteLeader to send all the instructions to the LAGs sending the expression of interest.

In this perspective, the involvement of LAGs is essential to ensure an inclusive and participatory territorial approach. The first cognitive meeting for Italian Local Action Groups (LAGs). The aim of the conference is to lay the foundations for a common strategy, which will later be extended to the European Rural Network, to initiate the creation of a European Silk Route, certified by the Council of Europe. This initiative, based on the experience of the European project Aracne, led by CREA – Agriculture and Environment, is also supported by Gal Delta 2000 and the Bioeconomic Policy Centre of CREA.
