The ARACNE project partners continue to interact. On 17 July, Dr Clara Hardy, founder of Séricyne, visited her colleagues at the CREA Sericulture Laboratory in Padua. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Manlio Piva of the Fisppa Department of the University of Padua. They discussed the possibility of new artistic and stylistic collaborations, thanks to the innovative products of the French company Séricyne and the fashion tests of an Italian start-up that aims to create unique and contemporary silk clothing. Creative developments are also taking place in the field of artistic photography, where the use of silk opens up new possibilities for expression.
