During the festive season, a time for reflection and inspiration, we are pleased to share a glimpse of an exceptional international project that brings together engineering expertise and artistic vision.
The model titled The Light, crafted from silk and cashmere, is featured in the comprehensive monograph Artistic Research in Fashion Design, which explores the depths of fashion design through the lens of artistic research.
The project is the result of close collaboration between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor in Slovenia, the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in Poland. This successful partnership has yielded not only valuable theoretical insights, but also:
- three acclaimed exhibitions in Poland and Lithuania,
- an international professional conference,
- and a monograph documenting innovative approaches in contemporary fashion design.
