Les Chemins de la Soie will take part in the third edition of the BARJASOIE & ARTS Festival, held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the picturesque village of Barjac (30430), in the Gard region of southern France.
Following the success of previous years, the Barjac Festival Committee brings new energy to this edition by opening the event to creators and artisans of all kinds, aiming to showcase the diversity of artistic and craft-based practices. Although the festival takes place over a single day, it promises a vibrant atmosphere full of creativity, conviviality, and authentic encounters.
Barjac, known for its preserved character and warm community, offers an ideal setting for its gathering of makers and cultural actors. As the organisers affirm, “creators and artisans are the soul of village life” — and this festival seeks to honour that spirit.
During the event, Les Chemins de la Soie will share their experience as part of the ARACNE project and the European network dedicated to the revitalisation of silk heritage and sustainable textile cultures. Its participation is an opportunity to reflect on the connections among tradition, territory, and innovation, and to highlight how local engagement can contribute to a wider European vision.
