Cooperation between partners is one of the cornerstones of the ARACNE project. Therefore, on Tuesday, June 11th, the Slovenian team visited the CREA – Sericulture Laboratory in Padua to carry out the activities planned under WP1.
Prof. Andreja Urbanek Krajnc collected some samples for analysis to compare the Italian mulberry collection with the Slovenian one. The team also included the plant pathologist colleague Dr. Mario Lesnik who focused his observation on the mulberry orchard from a phytosanitary perspective.
Guiding the team was Dr. Gianni Fila, who is well acquainted with the two hectares of mulberry orchard that have been the subject of his research for years.
